Thursday 21st April 2016 – Home Again

How can there be so much washing? Oh I know that because of my season Mum wanted to wash all my bedding and blankets but there are limits. I was only just in time to stop Horsie having to go in the washing machine! Can you imagine how dreadful it would have been to have to sit by and watch my favourite cuddly toy going round and round? Anyway, the weather forecast is good so we’re hoping to enjoy running round the garden while it all gets hung outside. It will be great to have walks here again too. I’ve missed checking out what’s happening locally. I know there is a new puppy in the village that I haven’t met yet, but I’m hoping that can be sorted out fairly soon.

Shadow and I had a lovely evening last night, sharing a bone. We took it in turns which was kind of fun. I’m going to miss it being just the two of us doing everything together. We got so close and it was nice. We’ll get to go away together again in July so I’ll just have to look forward to that.

Mum said last night that I’m not normal. Doesn’t every dog do handstands now and again? It’s just one of those things. I can balance on my front legs, what’s odd about that? I was getting off the settee and just put my front legs down and thought I’d give my back legs a bit of a stretch in the air before putting them down. I can walk on my front legs too, but surely that’s not so odd is it? She said if I keep doing things like that I could join a circus, but I’m not sure why I’d want to do that but it’s good to have options.
