Tuesday 19th April 2016 – Mamma and my birth parents

Oh what a day it was yesterday. I can’t even begin to tell you how good it was. First of all when we got up and went for a walk we could see the top of the Matterhorn and even I could understand why there are pictures of it everywhere. Then it was a lovely sunny morning so we had a really lovely walk around Zermatt and found these great benches where we could lie in the sun together. We met a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy as we walked round too and he was great. He was younger than me, but much bigger. We had to travel back on the train again, but even that was ok and people kept taking my photo and saying I was cute. It was after that my day got really exciting. At the station we were picked up by my birth humans. When I saw them I didn’t realise who it was at first, but as soon as I did I was such a happy dog. Then when we got to the car, there was my Mamma and my sister Valeria. Kathy was there too which was great as

she was around when I was growing up, but it was my birth humans and my Mamma that made it the most exciting. There was so much to tell them and of course they admired how much I’ve grown and I tried to show them how much I’ve learned and that I’m a good girl. Mum said lots of nice things about me, which made me blush a little but it was nice. It was nice to see Mamma cuddled up to Mum too. I’m so glad the two of them get on so well. The day finished with a trip to the vet so I could be ready to go home and even that wasn’t too bad as they gave me treats and said how much I’d grown since I was last there. Today we have lots of time in the car, which is less fun but it will be nice to get back again and see Alfie and Ari.
