Friday 25th January 2013 – It’s oh so quiet

With my Master away and all the puppies gone the house is so very quiet and tidy. My Mistress sorted out and put all the puppy things away yesterday afternoon and suddenly we had space again. If this is how quiet it seems now just think what it’s going to be like while Megan is away. We won’t know what to do with ourselves. Shadow has said bagsy she gets the room that Megan is in and I’m certainly not going to argue with that one. Shadow likes it for some of the same reasons that Megan does. She can sit on the chair watching the world go by, as much as the world does go by on our out of the way lane. There is the occasional dog walking past taking its owner out and of course you get to notify the household of deliveries and the post arriving. I sometimes sit in the other room overlooking the front of the house so I can do much the same thing. I’ve no wish to share with either of the girls.

Ari is not much smaller than me now. It’s causing all sorts of confusion. Every so often my Mistress gives us the wrong bowl of food because she’s not looking properly. It doesn’t really matter as we both have the same quantity of the same food, but I do like to have my own bowl. I’m very fussy about having my own things. My Mistress says I’ve grown to become too much like her and I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I haven’t seen her chewing many bones recently so I may not get everything from her. I do have to say the last lot of bones she bought us have been particularly tasty and we’ve all had hours of pleasure out of them.
