It’s going to be a sad day today with quite a few tears. Tess is leaving home. Darling, gentle little Tess is finally going to her new home. My Mistress is going to need a lot of looking after. If she’s anything like normal when dealing with any kind of upset she will go into a mad tidying the house phase and we’ll all be asked to put our toys away neatly if we don’t want them to be thrown out. I suppose looking at it positively there is plenty of tidying she can do relating to the puppies. She can put the pens away and the little dog crate and the feeding station. That will all take her quite a while as some of it lives in the summerhouse. Then she needs to put the other crate back in the office and one in the utility. Oh the time she can waste while she’s feeling all glum over Tess. We are hoping little Tess will be brave and settle well into her new home. She is such a lovely little girl. I think if things had been different I’d have quite liked a home where it was just her and me and my Master and Mistress, although don’t get me wrong I do love Ari’s company too.
I’m a bit fed up as my Mistress has arranged to go to see my Mum without me. I could go but it’s not that easy as Megan is going too. She’s promised that she will take me to Belgium in the summer and that maybe Ari can come along for his first overseas trip too. I hope she means it as it’s been a long time since I’ve seen my family.
Now we just have to hope that Megan’s trip pays off and that we have more puppies to look forward to in the summer. I’ll keep you informed.
