Megan has been in the wars. She wasn’t really well from her anaesthetic on Friday when she had her hips x-rayed. AS if that wasn’t enough she managed to tear one of her claws and was feeling very miserable. I never quite know what to do in those situations but between them my Mistress and Shadow got her cleaned up and sorted out. She has had to go to the vet, but she is fine as long as no one sits on that paw, Megan included. She is a bit subdued and staying close to my Mistress, but she will make a full recovery. She really is a very beautiful and special dog. I do enjoy curling up next to her. Apart from all the energy she has, we are very alike.

My Mistress is still busily building the Entlebucher family tree. So far she has 688 dogs in her ‘family’ but it is increasing all the time. It’s amazing to think how many of us there are, when I have met so few. I suppose it doesn’t help that we are all over the world, although I don’t think there are any of us in some countries at all. I don’t think there are any in Ireland yet, but hopefully soon there will be three as there are people on the waiting list for puppies. It will be enough to start having their very own Entlebucher meetings in Ireland and my Mistress says it will give us an excuse to visit which would be fantastic. She has only been to Ireland once and the weather was very bad so the ferry journey got a bit interesting. Hers was the last ferry to come back for a day or two until things calmed down. She has promised to take us in the summer if we go so that the weather is a bit better.
