Certainly scared me – Monday 9th May 2022
Well it certainly scared me – says Wilma, who shot out of bed thinking there must be a fire. Thankfully there wasn’t.

Where are the ducks? Worryingly Wilma hasn’t seen them since the alligator moved in – is that a coincidence?
Wilma says ‘that was close’ as Mum realised she didn’t have a vet certificate for Wilma’s last rabies vaccination.
We have evidence that it was the squirrel who dug up the parsnips. There’s no getting away from the fact that squirrel is guilty.
The deer are not popular in our house at the moment. Now that Wilma thinks about it neither are the squirrels and foxes.
Wilma is so excited to find that the ducks are beginning to look at their house. We just need them to move in.
Finally Aristotle has had some help from Mum with the seed planting in the greenhouse. It’s a start. There’s more to do.
The duck house has arrived and Wilma is looking forward to its official launch. We are all excited – maybe Shadow not so much.
The best laid plans are sometimes in the paws of the mice rather than the humans around here. I’m not a happy dog.
Shadow has a will of iron. She really is a very determined little dog and at times surprises us all. We need to be more like her.
