Saturday 8th August 2015 – Quietening Down

Now Mum’s (Shadow) hormones are calming down we’re all a bit quieter. When I say ‘we’, essentially I mean I am less hyperactive and not winding Alfie up. Our Mistress says she is grateful that she can get on with things a little better, but at one point yesterday she said it was so quiet she almost wondered if we were still there. I suppose after me being hyperactive for a couple of months it must seem strange to have me behaving like a normal dog again. Alfie says he’s very grateful too. He’s gone away for the weekend with our Mistress leaving me and Shadow in charge of our Master. At least I think it’s supposed to be that way round, but I’m not entirely sure. Our Mistress has gone to see her family and Alfie said he’d like to go with her, so she gave in and said yes. I said I’d like to go too, but she was able to be strong and tell me I couldn’t . Life can be so unfair.

Just in case you looked at the photo gallery and then found some of the features had disappeared. I didn’t break it. Honestly, it wasn’t me. We’ve had a problem with the software we’re using and it’s being fixed. Fortunately it happened when Alfie was working on it, otherwise I just know I’d be the one getting the blame.

The odd things you have to do in the garden. It was only by reading another friend’s Facebook status that our Mistress understood she may need to pollinate the pumpkins. She was last seen,  before going away, out in the back garden trying to identify male and female flowers so she could give them a helping hand. This is not one of the jobs she has left to me for while she is away, but I really can’t understand why not!
