I can’t wait to be able to measure Shadow later. We think it’s just possible that she is looking a little different. No one wants to be too certain just yet. My Master thought she sat down differently. My Mistress thought she looked like she ate all the pies. I’m just keeping my distance in case it turns out to be middle age spread. She would be three and a half weeks gone now, so we’ll know fairly soon one way or another. My Mistress keeps making plans dependent on ‘if Shadow not pregnant’. In a moment if complete lunacy (her words not mine) she sent an application to go on a tv quiz show but the filming would be when Shadow has just given birth so she has had to explain she will only be available if her dog is not pregnant. Somehow, I suspect that will impact her chances of being chosen for the show. Thinking about Shadow is also helping keep my mind of having to go into the vet tomorrow. On the bright side, I should be coming back minus the wart on my nose, but on balance I’d rather not be going in at all. As if the whole going to the vet thing and worrying about the outcome is not bad enough, I have to go without my supper tonight and my breakfast tomorrow and quite honestly, what is a boy to do if he can’t eat? Our Mistress is going to have her hands full when I start whining that I’m hungry. I know from past experience being hungry is not something I’m good at… no, that’s not right. I’m very good at being hungry. I’m hungry much of the time, even if I have just eaten! I just don’t behave very well when I am!
Don’t forget there’s still time to enter Ari’s competition from Saturday and win yourself your very own free Pawsome Box. We did all love it, so it’s worth it.
