My Mistress should not be allowed out, except she should not be allowed in either. She has just changed her mobile phone contract and they needed to send her a new sim card for her phone. Somehow, and I’m not laying any blame here, she ordered the wrong size. The only problem was she did not realise until she had deactivated her old one and then could not fit the new one. The result – a mobile phone that didn’t work and a lot of grovelling. I am very pleased to say that the nice man at O2 didn’t laugh at her and was very helpful in sorting it out. Thankfully he reactivated the old sim card and send her another new one for her phone. Now the new one has arrived and normal service has been resumed, not that we get any phone signal in our house, but that’s not the point.
Yesterday was quite an important day for us. We had a visit from a lady from the Kennel Club to make sure everything we do for dog breeding is to the highest standards. It’s because my Mistress is part of the Assured Breeder Scheme. I did my bit and bowled the lady over – almost literally. I decided I liked her a lot and despite my more advanced years I jumped up and kissed her which she was not expecting. Anyway, we all made the lady feel very welcome and she seemed quite taken with our breed by the end of the visit. Shadow enjoyed showing her where she has her puppies and telling her all about it and Ari told her how he loved welcoming his new brothers and sisters. All in all I think it went very well and she said she was recommending that we had passed, so my Mistress breathed a sigh of relief.
