It’s not me that’s not sleeping you understand, I can sleep anywhere at any time, it’s my Mistress. I think her trip is finally starting to get to her. When I dream it’s of a nice chase across the countryside, running with gay abandon after the odd rabbit or two – which is odd as in real life the only rabbit I’ve tried to get was caged and stationary. If we are out I don’t feel the least inclination to chase them or anything else. I suppose when I have to put effort into the running part it all seems too much like hard work. Anyway, back to my Mistress, she’s having the strangest dreams. Not exactly nightmares, but some really weird situations with odd characters from the past and for that matter the present cropping up. I said it was the workings of a troubled mind. Although I think I might have used the word ‘deranged’ rather than troubled, which got me into all sorts of problems trying to backtrack. Cinderella’s human recommended a book to read as my Mistress is scared of flying and it is good and answers lots of questions. The problem is that it answers lots of questions my Mistress did not have and has left her with new worries she had not thought of before. It also failed to answer the questions that do worry her so she still has those as well. She is taking the approach that it is all about mind over matter, but I’m not ensure that message has reached all parts of her body yet. Having never flown myself, it is not an area I have any experience in, but I’m just trusting that she’ll be fine and will be home safely to me very soon. Of course she needs to pack and go before that!
