Tuesday 4th June 2013 – It’s Aristotle here

Alfie has let me write today’s entry so I could say thank you to everyone for their good wishes. I seem to be doing ok, although I won’t really know until after the blood test I’m having on Thursday. I’m back on my normal food again and just at the minute I can’t look at another bone. My Mistress has explained that is was likely to have been something they put on the bone to make it tastier and that all the remnants of bones lying about should be fine as they were ok when I first had them, but you know what it’s like when something has made you ill, you just can’t face it until you’ve forgotten just how bad you felt.

I’ve had lots of fuss and attention and even my Maser has fussed over me, which is quite unusual. He normally keeps me grounded by saying things like ‘he’s just a mutt’ about me. I know he doesn’t really mean it, but it was comforting to see just how worried about me he was when there really was something wrong. As you can imagine, my Mistress has spoilt me rotten and keeps cuddling me and telling me she loves me, which really can’t be bad. Anyway, thank you to you all. It was lovely to hear from you and know just how many friends I’ve got.

Rather than hogging all the limelight, I thought I would mention that my Mistress’s radio interview went really well. She felt very tired when she came home, but she’s enjoyed it and people who listened to it said some very nice things to her.
