Much as he would rather not go swimming at all, Aristotle is upset because the lovely man who has been teaching him to swim is leaving the hydrotherapy company and going to do something else. Ari really liked him and had said that was the only compensation for going. I asked him what the new person was like and he shrugged and said he was sure he’d get used to her in a while, but just at the moment he wasn’t very happy. He’s going to miss a couple of weeks anyway with my Mistress having to travel for Amigo and Megan. Maybe he’ll have got his head round in being somebody new by the time he goes next time.
My Mistress rang Megan yesterday. She is very well but says she’s missing us all. Of course she may just be saying that, but it was nice to hear. The three of us here have settled into a big of a routine, I hope Megan doesn’t find it difficult to slot back into the pack. Ari has done some growing up while she’s been away and is top dog some of the time. He and Shadow seem to alternate. I’m not sure where they will see Megan as being now. I just know I’m bottom of the pile and don’t have any wish to get involved in their power struggles.
My Mistress has booked Megan’s scan for 9th April, which is the day after she gets home. That’s going to be a very anxious day in our house. I was thinking if it was good news we should have a party to celebrate both that and her coming home. I’m not sure she’ll really be feeling much of a party animal but we can keep in nice and simple. She might need a party to drown her sorrows if it hasn’t worked.
