For three and a half years we have driven round country lanes with my Mistress getting annoyed with the people driving in the wrong side of the road but managing to avoid them. Much to her shock as she drove home the other day, one managed to clip her wing mirror and shatter the glass. Amazingly no more damage was done and it isn’t proving too expensive to sort out, it just wastes a whole heap of time and causes lots of irritation. I was glad I wasn’t sitting in the passenger seat at the time as it would certainly have woken me up.
I’m all excited about my cousin coming to stay today. A long time ago we didn’t get on very well, but we made up and now I think he’s great. All it took was him tickling me under the chin to change my mind. That’s the thing with a dog. We are real softies when it comes to being given a bit of love and attention. I suppose it is like humans and flattery.
I’ve been spending a lot of time updating my t-shirt and sweatshirt designs. It turned out some of the styles I was using are out of stock so had disappeared off the list. I have even included a couple of bumper stickers. I just need to convince my Mistress to put one on the car. I don’t suppose she’ll let me put one on my car, but I might ask.
Tomorrow is our fun day. I’ve printed out the certificates for the games and am trying to stay well clear of the prizes so that I don’t give in to temptation. The exciting thing is we’ve got some new balls to use in one of the races and my Mistress says we can play with them afterwards. I just hope the weather is nice. I’ll tell you all about it in a few days.
