The bad weather has had one good result. My Mistress has now repaired our favourite tug toy. I don’t suppose it will be long before we pull it apart again and it probably wants replacing with a new one, but at least in the short term we can tug to our hearts content. The other bright side is that the grass is lovely and green, although seems to be growing a wide range of toadstools which can’t be good.
I nearly forgot to tell you the most exciting news. Actually there are two things that are exciting. Firstly my Mistress spoke to the lady that own the Entlebucher in this country that she hasn’t met yet. Cassie is seven years old and sounds as though she is a bit of a madam. It would be really nice to meet her sometime and I shall impart some of my wisdom on how to behave around the house in order to be easy to live with. I’ve really got it down to a fine art. Anyway, even more exciting than that is that Quinnie has come into season. Quinnie lives in Norwich and is now in the process of planning her trip to Switzerland to meet a very nice male dog for a couple of days of unbridles passion. If she’s anything like Shadow was when she was in season then I presume she is looking forward to it! We all wish her well on her journey and quite apart from hoping that she really enjoys herself, we sincerely hope that her trip is successful and that she comes home pregnant. If I’m this excited when it’s Quinnie how will I be when it’s Shadow or Megan?
My Mistress has tried using a number of different internet sites recently and found that they aren’t working correctly. She is starting to wonder whether this is a symptom of businesses cutting costs and not maintaining their sites properly or whether it’s just that people are on holiday. Whatever it is, please could the cinema sort out its booking page because she wants to go to see Shrek and Toy Story. She might even take the children with her!
