I did it. I went on the radio. My Mistress is always early when she goes to things so we arrived at the studio before we needed to, but it didn’t matter because lots of the people there came and introduced themselves to me. It was great. They weren’t at all interested in my Mistress, just me. I was patted and stroked and talked to and she just had to sit there and wait patiently. The studio wasn’t how I expected it and I found it quite hard to see over the edge of the desk, but I climbed up onto my Mistress’s knee to get closer to the microphone. I was as good as gold and didn’t bark once. Even when I didn’t agree with what she was saying I remembered not to shout her down. Overall she did quite a good job and the presenters were lovely. They said I should go on television. Can you imagine, me on breakfast tv. How cool would that be? Of course I might not like the bright studio lights, you don’t get that with a radio studio, but I’m sure I’d get through. I wonder if I’d have my own dressing room. For the next month you can listen to the interview HERE My part starts 2hours and 16 minutes into the show. They described me as placid and lovely, although they only said the word handsome once, so on balance the people at the Discover Dogs stand were more complimentary!
Shadow is at the vet today being x-rayed for her leg. We’re all sitting at home twiddling our paws and waiting for news.
