Tuesday 19th June 2012 – Thank you Roxy

You may have noticed that Roxy very kindly gave me a suggestion of how Aristotle could still come on family outings. You can get pet strollers. In English that a pushchair for a dog. Anyway, I found a really nice one on the internet and wrote to my Master to see if we could buy one as a present for Ari for his birthday. Please don’t say anything to him as I really want it to be a surprise and besides, my Master hasn’t actually agreed I can go ahead with it yet. I suggested I could maybe pull it to make it easier on everyone. He wouldn’t need to go in it all the time. Where there are nice grassy bits he quite enjoys having a bit of a run around. It’s just the paths that he finds hard going. You know how soft my Master is. I’ll be posting pictures of Aristotle steering his stroller proudly round the village before you know it.

I am a little concerned that key decisions about sleeping arrangements are being made without my being consulted. My Mistress has bought new sheets for our bed and it looks for all the world as though we are sleeping on Andy Pandy. For those of you in other countries he was a children’s tv character when my Mistress was small. I only know about him from the video she has. Anyway, the stripy sheets make my eyes go funny. When I complained my Master had the audacity to point out that it wasn’t really my bed at all. How can he say that? I get in every morning at 5am as regular as clockwork and snuggle right down under the covers with my Mistress. She thinks it’s my bed! My main point would have been that I’d have preferred a plain cover, but it seems my views aren’t being taken in to account.
