How exciting is today going to be? I suppose it would help you to know what I’m doing. I’m going on the North York Moors Railway. I don’t just mean I’m going to watch. It is one of the more enlightened attractions that understands that the discerning dog wants to be entertained along with his family. I get to go on the train. I don’t think they go as far as letting me drive but I don’t think they’ll let my Mistress drive either, so I can’t really complain. We’re taking a picnic for lunch, to eat on the train and I just know there’ll be some for me. I know that mainly because there is a six year old in the party and from experience, picnic + small child = dropped food for The Dog! I suppose I need to make the most of it while I can get all the crumbs to myself, it won’t be long before I have to share them. I don’t mind though, the benefits of having a pal far outweigh the sacrifice of a few crumbs here and there. I just hope she doesn’t like marzipan, there are some things I just don’t want to share.
One of the purchases from the pet shop was a ‘tunnel’ to practice agility with. I can’t wait to have a go, but we aren’t allowed to open it until Bella comes. It is going to be so much fun having someone to play with all the time.
My Mistress is still trying to sort out everything from the Belgian move. It’s my turn to be sorted at the moment. My pedigree certificate has been sent off. Did we want ‘International Registered Post’ or some special air service? “What’s the difference?” I asked. Pretty much nothing as far as it turned out. Except the name! So we stuck a pin in the piece of paper and opted for that one!
