Tired legs
It’s not me that has got tired legs. I can run about all day and still be all right. It’s Dad. He decided to get a cable car up a mountain yesterday. However, he then decided to walk down and it turned out to be far harder work than he was expecting. By the time he got to the bottom, he said the muscles were all quivering on their own, which was a very funny feeling. Mum thought shew as going to be sending Mountain Rescue out to find him, or at the very least my sister, but thankfully he made it to the bottom in one piece.
More mundane
In comparison, life here was much more mundane. I had chance to see Bernie while I was in kennels, but was still very happy to come home and be cuddled by Mum. I shared with Alfie while we were there and to be honest it was a bit boring. He gets quite stressed and there’s not a lot I can do to make him feel better. I resorted to chewing a hole in the bed that Mum had taken for me to use. Given it actually belongs to Alfie and is quite new, I wasn’t that popular. It’s not a very big hole and it is repairable so apparently that’s my next job.
Pawprints
If the weather stays dry today, Mum says I can help her put the pawprints on the car. I said we could put them all over, but apparently we still need to make it look tasteful. By most human standards, tasteful would mean leaving them off altogether, so I can’t see what more harm getting carried away can do. Mum says we’ve got more than we actually need and I should not feel that we have to put them all on. Where’s the fun in that? I want to put some on the roof too, but she says that is not what she has in mind.
Have a great Monday
Love
Wilma
