To be fair, Wilma picks up boyfriends like I used to pick up girlfriends. However, when she went for a walk yesterday she joined the two Labradors, Mack and Hector. Mack is nine months old and he and Wilma ran and romped through the wet and mud having a great time. Our Mistress said it seemed to be Hector that Wilma really took a shine to, but then she’s always like an older man. Hector is nearly ten but still very fit for his age and they did have a run together, but he didn’t go quite so mad as the youngsters. Wilma would have run all afternoon if she’d been given the chance she had a great time and came home absolutely full of it.
We now have our first picture of our Master in his pantomime costume. Now, according to our Mistress, pantomime is a very English thing and if you’re looking at this based in another country you may be a little confused. For reasons I have absolutely no idea, but must make sense to some humans somewhere, many of the male parts are played by women and many of the female parts are played by men. And so it is that our Master finds himself playing a rather too convincing ugly sister. He is thoroughly enjoying his costumes, including platform heel shoes, which make him very tall. He’s having a lot of fun and the pantomime audiences seem to be enjoying themselves, which is the important thing. We’re just happy that for the most part when he comes back home to us he looks a little more as we’re used to seeing him. I don’t think I could get used to him wearing a blue wig for normal days but I guess if he did we’d love him just the same.
Bye for now
Ari
