Hello everyone, Ari here. Some of my week has been ok, but I was assaulted by a Pointer when I was out walking on Thursday and it’s left me psychologically wounded. I’ve been doing much better around other dogs on walks lately and have not been quite as nervous as I was. Then on Thursday there was a large Labradoodle (I think), a Spaniel and a Pointer and it was a bit worrying. I was on my lead and the woman approaching put the little one on the lead but left the two big ones to jump on me and in the case of the Pointer, a large boy, show rather more amorous intentions than was reasonable for any dog to face. Our Mistress was utterly furious. She’d already called to the other owner to say I was anxious around other dogs, but the Pointer was left free to try his luck and there was nothing we could do. Our Mistress shouted at the other owner, who clearly couldn’t manage all three of the dogs she was walking and then spent ages soothing me until I felt ok again. Later on I had to go to the vet for my annual vaccinations and I flipped out worrying there were going to be other dogs. The vet was great and calmed me down, but it wasn’t a good day. I feel violated and traumatised. Shadow said if I could tell her where to find them then she’d go and sort them out for me, but I’m not a violent dog and I really wouldn’t wish my mother’s wrath on anyone.
To cheer my up our Mistress has said we can sit at the window together later to see if we can see any fireworks. I’ve always enjoyed watching them although there aren’t that many in our village, but you can usually see some out of the office window or over the fields if you sit at the window upstairs.
Have a good weekend
Ari

Thank you. I’m planning a nice relaxed weekend to make up for it.
