With my Mistress’s help I’ve been making some changes to my site and have started a photo gallery so you can find lots of our past pictures more easily. It’s not finished yet as I’ve added lots of photos over the years, but I thought you might like to look so you can tell me if there is anything else you would like to see. I’ve also made sure all my books are on the books page too.
Some of you will already have seen this photo on Facebook, but Ari and I managed to put aside our differences to make the most of cuddling up to our Mistress over the weekend. We worked out that if we actually sat on her then it was less likely she could go anywhere away from us. She said she didn’t really feel like going anywhere anyway, so it wasn’t a big problem. Shadow was just fed up that there wasn’t room for her too. Mind you, she had missed her chew so much that she’s back to not wanting to go anywhere without it and even goes to fetch it to have it next to her when she sleeps. It is still at the size where she bashes the walls and stairs with it as she goes around the house, which can be quite funny and very noisy!
Today Shadow has to go to the vet for a herpes vaccination. It’s a safety thing to make sure that the puppies don’t get canine herpes which can be fatal to them when they are small. She is not thrilled about the vaccination but she says it is definitely better than the alternative.
Even though there are eight weeks to go until puppies might arrive our Mistress is already thinking about all the things that need to be done first. There are a number of jobs around the house that we need to get people to come to help with and she wants those out of the way before the puppies are due. I pointed out that as some have already waited months they’d probably be fine until after the puppies have gone to their homes, but she doesn’t see it like that.
