Today is the turn of my sister Tess. She’s 2 years old now and was my best friend in her litter. We used to lie nose to nose with her inside the pen and me outside. I did get to see her again a little while ago and it was still as lovely as ever. This is what her humans’ say:
‘Tess continues to be the apple of our eye and is a truly lovely dog. People think she is still a pup as she’s not got loads bigger, but she looks healthy and happy. A wonderful guard dog – goes nuts when someone knocks our door, so we all feel very safe knowing she is here.
2015 will see Tess getting her pet passport for her first trip overseas…exciting!’
That has updated you on all but 4 of my siblings. I’m still waiting to hear from them, but when I do I will tell you how they are doing. I shall have to discuss with Alfie what I can cover next. I don’t want him to stop me writing at weekends. It’s fun. I didn’t get to try the new toy again yesterday as our Mistress wasn’t too well and wanted a quiet day. Three excitable Entlebuchers and she wanted a quiet day! Like that’s going to happen. Shadow spent the day trying to flirt with Alfie and I think she was hoping that he might mate with her in case it hasn’t worked with Rolex. You should have seen the look on his face. He was most distressed. He muttered something about ‘You don’t expect to face that sort of behaviour when you’re nine years old and were castrated more than eight years ago.’ Shadow wasn’t impressed. I just thought it was all very funny and was generally playing up. It seemed less funny when I was sent for a time-out, but it’s the price you pay.
