Wednesday 22nd October 2014 – I’ve been busy

As many of you may know I am the leader of the Pet Dogs Democratic Party. I set the party up a number of years ago to champion the cause of the underdog. I have been working very hard to bring all our policies together in time to launch our manifesto before next year’s general election in the UK. The manifesto needs one final round of revisions before it is all finalised, but the illustrations are complete and I’m starting to make sure the part infrastructure is in place. Our policies are fresh and different to any of the current mainstream political parties, although we are expecting other parties to steal some of our ideas when they see how good they are. I can also reveal one of the illustrations for the book and will soon be able to bring you the book cover. The illustrations have been done by the wonderful Katie Stewart of Magic Owl Designs, who also did the book cover for Alfie’s Woods and my Mistress’s book The Lifetracer. I shall carry on bringing you news as we set more things up. The party will be open to membership soon and members will receive a paw signed membership certificate with my paw print on as well as being listed as party members. We will also be offering party merchandise to all our supporters so you will be able to show your support that way too. I’m quite excited about it all and realise now that nearing retirement age doesn’t mean life comes to an end it just takes a slightly different path.

Don’t forget our competition to win Free Tickets to Discover Dogs at Earl’s Court on 8th and 9th November – you can find it HERE and send us your photos to include in the blog.
