We’re getting some great photos as well as competition entries. Don’t forget you’ve got until Friday to enter. We liked these photos from yesterday from Tilly and Charlie.
I had more blood taken yesterday. I tried to be brave. I didn’t entirely succeed, but they got what they needed in the end. On a brighter note my eye is improving and although I have to have eye drops for another week and go for a check up next Monday hopefully I will be signed off for that then. I ended up having two walks again yesterday. I’ve taken to asking to go out every time my Mistress leaves the house. I don’t choose to walk all that far but it’s at least stretching my legs. I was even prepared to get very wet in the afternoon as my friends the pugs had walked just ahead of me and then I was desperate to try to catch up with them. It was pouring with rain so I got wet. It was fine when we left the house so it all came as a bit of a surprise to my Mistress and she had to find a full change of clothing when she got back.
My Mistress has given up on trying to dye her hair for the pantomime. It has not been a success. It seems her red hair refuses to be hidden by anything and already doesn’t look much different to before she started; just a bit dull and a slightly funny shade at the front. She’s going to have a wig instead! I didn’t tell you that I had a walk down to the village on Saturday to see how they were getting on installing the stage ready for the event. My Master was helping. I have to say it is looking good, I’m just sorry I won’t be allowed to watch any of the performances. My Master is working very hard to learn his lines and song and dance routines. The dancing might not come naturally to him, but you really do have to give him full marks for trying. They will be performing the last two weeks in November and tickets are selling fast so if you want to go do get your ticket order in soon! The last night has sold out already.
