After a long day in the car we are half way there. I could feel the tension and stress falling away as we set off and I left the others behind. It was an unexciting journey, but to be honest with a long journey that is usually a good thing. There were no major hold-ups and although it rained it wasn’t too heavy. I quietly snoozed and left my Mistress to do all the work. The only funny thing was when she complained that she had just torn a bit of her jeans. Now given they are the fashionable type with intended rips in them it seemed rather ironic, but apparently she’d managed to tear a bit that hadn’t been supposed to be torn. The good news is that no one except my Mistress… and of course all of you, will know. Please don’t tell her I told you. I get into trouble for constantly blabbing. She did inflict one of her audio books on me, but I’m very good at switching off to things like that and didn’t really listen, even when she laughed out loud. Although I was slightly tempted to ask what she’d found funny, but have long since learnt that that would only extend my agony as she would insist on winding the book back so I could listen for myself.
We’re staying at a hotel she often stays at on route. It’s very practical, more a motel than a hotel with all the room straight off the car park. It does save me having to walk through the hotel and means carrying the luggage only a short distance. It’s got everything we need just for one night, including the inevitable wifi. It just means we end up fighting over the computer.
