Shadow says she is not feeling completely ok yet, but I think she may just be saying it so she can come on holiday. I think she’s going to be ok so it does look as though I’m going. Our friend has said that she has 11 Entlebuchers at her house at the moment, so I’m a bit uncertain how I’m going to feel about that, particularly as there are some boys and Megan and one of the girls is in season. 11 is a lot of dogs! Megan’s dad is staying there so I thought I might have a word with him and see if he could ask his daughter to be nice to me.
I have finished the first edit of my political manifesto and am ready to send it off to the lovely lady who is going to do some illustrations for it for me. I think my Mistress said I need to write a paragraph or two in conclusion, but that shouldn’t take me too long. The next thing I need to do is write to a couple of people to ask very nicely if they would like to give a quote to go on the cover. Of course, in exchange they will get honorary membership of the Pet Dogs Democratic Party which has got to be worthwhile.
Buying things on the internet can be frustrating. My Mistress ordered a belt as she needed a smaller one. It took a while to come, but when it arrived she tried it on and it was much too big. Her first thought was that she had measured herself incorrectly or misread the description, but no the measurement was correct and it matched what the website said. The next thing was to measure the new belt and sure enough it was completely different in size to the one listed. Now you’d think that it just meant they had sent the wrong size, but in reply they said they had got their listing wrong and didn’t actually make one in that size, despite their description being very precise as to the length and where the holes were to do it up. My Mistress shrugged and asked for a refund and says she’ll get some braces instead.
