What an amazing day we had yesterday. I met so many new friends and family that I don’t know where to start. I met my little sister, Dora, she’s only 6 but when I say ‘little’ she really isn’t much smaller than me. We both look quite similar and like our mother. I really do hope we are able to have one of her puppies come to live with us next year. I would really like that. Sophie, my niece was lovely to but she is younger and I didn’t have so much to talk to her about. Things got a bit harder later as I have sort of decided that I’d rather like Bella to be my girlfriend and then we met Dexter and Higgins and Bella really liked Dexter so I was feeling jealous. I did try to tell him that she was mine, but it’s hard when he is bigger than me and she was obviously interested in him – you should have seen the way she wiggled her bottom in front of him as she walked. There were other dogs there as well and at my sister’s house so by early in the afternoon I’d definitely had enough and was glad of a bit of space and quiet. I was really pleased to have Bella back to myself too.
Last night we stayed in a lovely apartment in a town called Brielle and had a nice walk along the canal and another in a park. After our busy morning I was quite ready to put my paws up to be honest.
Today we are going to see another friend near Amsterdam before heading south to my old stomping ground and that is the bit I have been looking forward to all week. I can’t wait to show Bella where I used to live and my favourite walk. I hope she likes it as much as I do.
