You would think that some things went without saying, but it seems not. My Master was reminded of a clause in our rental agreement in Belgium which instructed tenants not to flush spaghetti down the toilet. However, in this instance the instruction that amused him was not to wash your dog in the hot tub. As if any of his dogs would go anywhere near the hot tub! I’m getting used to the swimming pool, but I am not ready to try going into water for optional pleasure. He seemed to view it differently and given it wasn’t raining was prepared to sit outside in it. Aristotle was the most interested of all of us and watched from indoors. He had also been the most interested when we watched Beethoven’s Second, the film not the music! When the puppies barked he wanted to find them and started barking and looking everywhere. Mind you given our Master was sitting with his back to where we were in the hot tub and Ari hadn’t seen him get in, he thought for a minute that there was a strange man outside our window and he did get quite upset about it for a while.
The weather was not so bad yesterday so we spent time out and about. It’s quite difficult to meet al our differing walking requirements in one go. I need something gentle, Ari needs it to be soft under paw. My Mistress isn’t great with hills and Shadow is happy whatever we do and my Master likes challenging climbs. We did all enjoy our day in the end but the planning stage was a little more difficult than would be ideal and did involve a certain amount of ‘discussion’ about who got to choose what we were doing.
Anyway, when we got back we did not have a wash in the hot tub!
