My Mistress was looking after two of her friends’ dogs while they went out. It didn’t go well. They were sulking because they had been left behind while their other two dogs had gone with them. First of all one peed all over the floor, but my Mistress cleared up and thought no more of it. Then she went to bed early leaving the two of them in the kitchen. Unfortunately she also left a big box of her cereal in the kitchen too, on the kitchen table. Apparently when her friends got home they found one very fat dog and one empty box of cereal. It took my Mistress 3 days to eat the other half a container’s worth of the cereal and it took the dogs an hour or two to eat the remaining half. It’s no wonder they were looking fat. Ari and I are now feeling very jealous as much as we love the oat cereal we never get more than an odd mouthful, never so much as a portion and certainly never half a container. It’s a good job my Mistress took three big containers of it with her and still has plenty left, otherwise the dogs would really have been in trouble.
Shadow has had her follow up blood test and will get the results later today, but she’s going over to meet Falk today anyway so they can have a play together. Falk is a discerning chap and likes to get to know his girlfriends first. He’s not the one night stand sort of dog. Shadow says she deserves nothing less and is now getting very excited about seeing him. They are going to stay in the hotel that we stayed in when I was only 4 months old. This time they won’t have a lake view though. I didn’t tell Shadow we had a lake view when I stayed.
