I’m not swearing, honestly. I just thought you’d like the good news that no one got a bloody ear yesterday morning. It was a bit stressful when we all got together first thing, but things settled down sooner than the day before. We did get to see Megan’s new anxiety problems later in the day when one of my Mistress’s friends came to stay. She didn’t growl but she barked in a way that made us all realise how anxious she was. My Mistress reassured her and made her lie down until she had calmed down. Megan was happy to lie down as long as my Mistress was visible. Then after a while she got the courage to go and say hello to my Mistress’s friend and did really well, deciding she rather liked him. Since then she has gone for love and affection whenever she can and has calmed down really well. She’s been all right while out walking, she’s met both people and dogs without barking. Hopefully given time and not too many different and stressful situations she can begin to relax again and get back to being the old Megan, that we know and love.
We had an email to say that Annie is moulting ready for her season too. We do hope everything goes well for her this time when she goes to see Higgins. She must be excited packing her bags ready to set off for her holidays again. Good luck Annie from all of us. There are lots of people waiting to have a lovely Entlebucher puppy and it’s a shame for them to have to wait too long. What could be nicer than having one of us to live with? Except perhaps having four of us to live with!
