Wednesday 6th March 2013 – Keeping us guessing

At last I can bring you some more promising news from Megan. When we spoke to her yesterday she was very excited as she had gone to see the stud dog. Her blood test had shown that the timing would be right and if things go to plan she will see him again over the next day or two as well. I had almost concluded that she would not be having puppies and I am now very excited for her hoping that everything goes well. She would really make a lovely mum and if she could pass on the good looks she has to her puppies it would be wonderful. Although I hate to admit it, Leon, the stud dog, is also very handsome. To be fair, given that I could not be a father I think both of the girls have chosen their partners well.

I did try to lend my Mistress my rucksack, however although she was very grateful she said that the shoulder strap came in the wrong place to be able to put it round her arm. She is instead using a boring one which does not have my name on it. She has promised to think about me even though my name will not be there as a reminder. She did point out that my picture is on some of the boards that are used to decorate the stand that she will be on.

Yesterday, my Mistress was having great difficulty with the voice recognition software because she had a croaky voice. It would have been quite funny if she had not been getting quite so frustrated with it. I can understand her frustration, it had taken her 20 minutes simply to find a way to tie her hair up out of her way and she still has not managed to put any socks on. The software was the last straw. She has a lot of sympathy for those who have to put up with problems like this on a long-term basis. And admires the fact that they do not seem to lose their temper nearly as often as she is doing.
