Well today is Tucker’s big day. He’s going to meet his humans ready for going home to see his new rabbit owner, my friend Tino. Ari has offered to go and meet the humans at the station, which is great news for me as I find places like that a little too noisy, which you might find surprising if you heard me bark! I blame my Mistress for taking me on the North York Moors Railway and finding myself stood next to an engine when they let off a blast of steam. I jumped a mile and it left me quaking for ages. The puppies have been told to be on their best behaviour and not to mess the pen up while My Mistress is out. My Mistress has been told by my Master that she should now call them puppies and stop using the term ‘raptor’s in case she puts anyone off. She asked if ‘piranha’ was a compromise, but it seems not.
Yesterday was a bad day to be in the office. The puppies had their dose of wormer and it always leaves them a bit more pooey than usual. It wasn’t a good smell. It’s funny, when it comes to them leaving my Mistress doesn’t think of losing a puppy she thinks of it as four lots less of poo to clear each day. When Tucker goes on Friday we go down from 20 piles of poo a day to only 16, which somehow seems more manageable. Then on Saturday we’ll go down to 12 piles of poo. The puppies do their best to compensate by making them bigger piles as they get bigger, but it’s still fewer times of having to face the raptors puppies to clear up.
Tucker has got so many new things to look forward to. I’ve seen the photo of his bed and all sorts of his goodies. He’s going to have a wonderful time. You’ve been great Tucker. You’re a really gentle soul and I shall look forward to seeing you at Fun Days. Get Tino to write to me often to tell me how you’re doing. Good luck little chap.
