We are all taking care of little Aisha. She has some fluid on her lungs possibly from her birth and is struggling to take milk. She has been given some antibiotics and helped to suckle and has also been given some fluid. Now she is being helped to suckle at intervals through the night, but she may not pull through. We are all hoping and praying that she gets strong enough to start suckling on her own.

Are you able to feed Aisha through a tube directly to her stomach? They are specially made for this and have to be gently introduced down the esophagus. I have been able to save a few puppies this way, sometimes after only one feeding which gives them enough strength to nurse on their own. Best of luck to all of you.
Not using a tube, but getting some into her from a teat that is easy to express. Giving her a few drops every fifteen minutes or so.
