The windy weather has been really getting to all of us. To be fair we don’t really want to go out, but our Mistress absolutely hates windy weather. Mind you, she also hates just how jumpy and hyper Shadow and Aristotle become. I take the sensible approach. I curl up somewhere comfortable and try to sleep until it goes away. Shadow and Ari spent yesterday sitting by the window watching everything blowing about and barking at things when they did. They became very very annoying. I think today is supposed to be better, but then it’s going to be bad again the next couple of days. If this is global warming then I’d like someone to reverse it as soon as possible. I want my peace and quiet back and our Mistress wants her sanity. Although, on reflection I think our Mistress might have lost her sanity a very long time ago and I don’t think it had anything to do with global warming. I did look at the long range forecast and trust me, you don’t want to know. Why did we buy a house at the highest point of the village?
Aida will be on her way to Switzerland to mate for the first time. We all wish her a wonderful and successful trip and are crossing our paws that everything goes to plan. We’ve also heard the date for the arrival of the puppy to the UK from Russia and that’s at the beginning of February. I’ll let you know how that all goes too.
Now I’m off to measure Shadow and will tell you tomorrow what the results of that are. I might need our Mistress to help with the tape measure, I tend to find that it slips out of my paws and that’s before you take into account a wriggling dog who won’t stand still.
