Never mind her progesterone tests, Shadow decided that she was ready. She went to meet Falk yesterday and after playing for a few minutes they got on with things. She’s off to see him again today and hopefully again tomorrow. The vet was suggesting testing again on Monday if that had happened she would have ended up being too late, so it was a good job that my Mistress knew her usual pattern of activities. It means we can all start getting excited about them coming home. She’s going to need some cuddles as she’s left Megan behind with her friend in Switzerland. She will see Megan again and maybe eventually she will come back to England, but that won’t be in my time.
Now Shadow is pampering herself in the hotel I stayed in and despite what I said, she has got a room that overlooks the lake, which is nice for her. They are having a quiet time in the hope that my Mistress starts to feel better for her return trip. Shadow wants to go for a walk round the lake, but the problem is that she’s just too interesting to male dogs right now, which makes it hard for her to go out and about too much in public. At least my Mistress’s sense of humour is ok she says her eyes are so bloodshot that she won’t be needing a Halloween mask, she can scare all the children as she is.
Ari is fed up that we could not have gone home for the weekend, but it just doesn’t really work like that. My Master will have to look after himself without our help. We’ll be back with them as soon as possible. He forgot the hour time change too and was fed up that he had to wait for breakfast.
