I think two days of Aristotle is quite enough for you, it is after all my diary and there is a risk that you will start to expect the slightly less cynical approach which Aristotle brings. I on the other paw remain cynical as ever!
One thing Aristotle failed to tell you about was Megan mating with Leon. She seems to have been enjoying herself and mated on three consecutive days. She went to see him again on day four and although he was still very keen Megan decided that she had had enough, so despite the fact that Leon is much larger than she is she took him by the scruff of the neck and pinned him to the floor. She is certainly not a girl who is afraid to say ‘no’! Hopefully this will mean that she was mated at the right time and we can look forward to seeing some little puppies. The next task is to bring her home and then for her to have a scan. The scan will be in about another four weeks and we will then know whether she is pregnant.
My Mistress went to the hospital yesterday and had all the bandaging and stitches removed from her hand. It is still rather bruised and swollen and she can’t move her finger yet. She has to go to see the physiotherapist this morning and is hoping to have a better idea of how soon she will be able to drive after that. She says and how it feels it isn’t going to be any time soon!
One thing that is very exciting is that we are currently talking to breeders in America and Canada about a couple of puppies coming to join our ranks in the UK. My Mistress is particularly excited as these would be different breeding lines to the dogs currently in the country. She tells me that that is a very good thing for our breed.
