Megan is keeping everyone guessing, her hormone levels still say that she is not ready to mate with the stud dog will. She has to have another test on Monday. I am starting to think that she has a crush on the vet and likes going to see him. My Mistress thinks that Megan simply wants to be a very expensive dog.
Shadow and Aristotle are now home from kennels and surprising as it may seem I was very happy to see them. I probably was not as happy as they were to be home. It was good that they were back in time for our visit on Saturday from some Entlebucher friends from across the pond, I would have found it difficult to do all of the entertaining on my own. As always Aristotle stole the show. It was almost warm enough for us to sit outside, but not quite! It was dry enough for James to cut the grass for the first time this year. He is also doing a good job of excavating the herb garden from amongst the weeds. His original plan was to earn money to start his driving lessons and I’m pleased to say he had his first lesson last week and seems to have thoroughly enjoyed it. He is now saving for a new mobile phone as well.
I was delighted to find that my Mistress slept most of the night and as long as she doesn’t move the pain is now rather more manageable. She is having problems doing anything as at the moment her right hand cannot be used at all, not even to support something that she is doing with her left hand. She needs a little more patience rather than getting quite so frustrated. She wants to know whether anyone has invented a device to enable her to tie her hair up using only one hand. At the moment it can only be done with the help of my Master but it is not something he has a great deal of experience in!
