Yesterday really was one of those days. My Mistress didn’t feel like getting up from the word go, and spent the day fighting the almost overwhelming urge to go back to bed. She says it’s all right for us as we just go back to sleep wherever we are, given half the opportunity. She on the other paw is expected to put in a day’s work. Megan was having one of her barky days. I think she’d got out of her basket on the wrong side. Even after she’d been for a good long walk in the snow she was still grumbling. The weirdest thing was when my Mistress logged onto her online banking to send payment for her membership of the Entlebucher Club in the Netherlands. She could see someone else’s account details as well as her own. She couldn’t just see them, she could have done banking transactions on their account and they’d got an awful lot of money in their account. She was good. Despite my suggestion that she could move the money offshore and we could go to live in the Cayman Islands under assumed names, she thought the sudden appearance of 4 Entlebuchers in the Cayman Islands might give rise to suspicion and she had no intention of going without us. She rang the bank instead and they said ‘Oh dear’ and they would get back to her. She’s still waiting to hear from them.
On a good news front I’m going to be doing some Crufts coverage again this year and will hopefully be running another competition for all you lovely readers. We’re just waiting to find what prizes we can give you and we’ll start to tell you more about it. I might let Aristotle write the days we’re doing that as he’ll be attending Crufts while I have some quality time with my grandparents.
