Crazy House
This is a crazy house. You know that sign that says ‘You don’t have to be crazy to work here, but it helps’? Well if you replace ‘work’ with ‘live’ then you’ve got us summed up. We were all very happy to be home and have been showing our enthusiasm ever since. Now don’t get me wrong, we love the people at kennels and they look after us wonderfully, but there is nowhere like home. Once we’d finished jumping all over our Mistress, which I had to admit went on for quite some time, we moved on to the other important jobs. Shadow checked nothing had been moved. Alfie peed in all the strategic places. I went crazy in a more general way and Wilma curled up in her favourite chair after a long cuddle with our Mistress.
More excitement
Today’s excitement for Shadow will be seeing James for the first time in a couple of months. We’ll all be pleased of course, but only Shadow will sing at the top of her voice about it. It’s lovely, she feels so much better than she did a few weeks ago and is now putting even more into enjoying life than she did and that’s saying something. She is absolutely full of bounce, which is not bad at her age. To be honest, she’s got more bounce than I have.
Work to do
Our Mistress has told us all we’ve got work to do over the next few weeks. Alfie has lined up a couple of exciting things for us to test. At least he’s told us they’re exciting but he won’t actually tell us what they are yet as he seems to think we’ll blab. Honestly you’d think I told everyone everything the way he goes on.
Anyway, what he did let me share with you was a picture of this very beautiful little rescued hedgehog being fed. A friend of our Mistress is taking care of them until they are old enough to fend for themselves. I did ask if I could have one as a pet but apparently that is not ok and they won’t actually be pets at all. I do hope this one grows up to have a long and very happy life. You can find out more about them HERE
Have a great Saturday
