It’s the end of an era for the dogs and Ari and Shadow are reminiscing. Wilma just wants to be close to Mum – people are more important to her than things.
Wilma is writing lines – I must not bark in class. It’s only because she’s feeling unsettled about everything going on, but Mum is not pleased.
Wilma has been enjoying some odd recollections with Mum as they’ve been packing. Aristotle doesn’t want to talk about it.
Wilma is fed up with the thunder and lightning and the restrictions it places on what she can do. At least Shadow can’t hear it these days, which helps.
Wilma wants to know why Mum thinks the red sky is so important. It turned out that Mum was right, but Wilma didn’t let it spoil the day.
Wilma says the dogs are faced with some tough choices over the next few weeks. She’s not really looking forward to how this is likely to go.
Wilma is concerned about the countdown to moving. She is not happy to see her things being packed. What if she needs them?
Shadow’s leg is causing her some difficulty. No Mum needs to adjust her leg brace, but where are the things she needs to use to do it?
Wilma is musing not so much on humans using power tools as their need to own them. Packing has revealed an odd situation in the house.
