OrtoCanis Knee Brace
I’m going to have my very own OrtoCanis knee brace. I’m not sure that is something I should be boasting about really. When I was walking with Mum yesterday I was complaining that my left knee was really hurting. Mum had asked if I’d got a problem when we went out, as I’d got my neck hunched the way we do when we are in pain. I tried to make light of it, but in the end I had to come clean. Mum would have worked it out anyway as I’d been chewing at my knee to get some relief. Anyway, I’m having a few days of anti-inflammatories and Mum has asked if I could stop jumping everywhere to give it some rest.
Different sizes
Shadow’s knee brace is proving so successful that I asked if I could try it on. It turns out I’m rather more muscular than Shadow. I need an extra-large, whereas hers is only a large. I was on the borderline of needing XXL which was funny as it said they were for my big cousin the Bernese Mountain Dog. Shadow has told me that it took her a few days to get used to hers, but she loves it now. She is moving around much more easily. Mum knows she’s not in as much pain now too as she’s panting and drinking less.
Zooms not zoomies
It means I have to remember to be a grown up all the time. I am allowed to do more Zoom calls. I’ve got back into the swing of those again. Mum has some chews that I only get when I do them, so we’re all happy. What I mustn’t do is get confused and throw myself enthusiastically into zoomies. We’re a bit renowned for those as a breed – the mad half hour of tearing round like a loony that most dogs grow out of in adulthood. We never bother with adulthood, so get away with it.

Oh dear Wilma. I hope your leg is feeling better soon. Have a lovely day all. ?????????
Those question marks were supposed to be paw prints and hearts but for some reason they haven’t shown as that. Technology!!!
Thank you for the question marks – they’re fun. And thank you for the good wishes. I’m sure I’ll be fine soon
