Do you remember?
‘Do you remember?’ Shadow said to Ari yesterday, ‘when Tuesday used to be swimming day.’ She really misses going swimming. She doesn’t think she would have damaged her cruciate ligament if she’d been able to continue swimming. That made Mum feel pretty guilty at having to stop her going. Shadow is desperately in need of rebuilding some of the muscle on her back legs. Mum decided yesterday that she really needed to do a little more exercise, however difficult it is. She is only starting very slowly again and did one circuit of the yard, in addition to going out to the toilet. She will do an extra one each day, but probably only do 5 or 10 at most until she’s a bit stronger.
Press releases
I’ve been bombarded with press releases recently. Lots of people want me to tell you about how wonderful they are. The problem is that some don’t even stop to think that we’re a pet blog. Why would I want recipes to cook for all the family that contain things I can’t even eat? We do have a lovely story to bring you tomorrow and I’ve got to get down to business and do a product test for you too – such is the life of a social media influencer. I said that to Mum, but she told me not to get ideas about my station. A girl can dream.
Hiccups
I keep getting hiccups all of a sudden. I’ve not had them since I was a puppy, but have had them a couple of times in the last day or two. It’s really weird when you’re body reacts like that and there’s nothing you can do about it. Mum rubbed my back for me. It didn’t stop them, but it was comforting.
