Where to work?
It is such a difficult decision to decide where to work. Now, you may think it’s obvious and ‘from home’ is all there is to it. Yes, of course, we’re working from home. However, the office is up six stairs as I’ve told you and neither Shadow nor Aristotle are coping with stairs. Then came the ramp. Alfie had a wonderful ramp made by a friend in the village, which meant he could get up to the office. You would think that if it worked for Alfie it would work for the others. With Aristotle it wasn’t too bad. He was a bit over-enthusiastic but not too bad. Then there was Shadow.
Trampolining
Shadow fancied trying her paw at trampolining. The ramp had a certain amount in spring in it and she took full advantage. Faced with that, the poor ramp simply refused to stay in place. Let’s face it, if you thought Shadow was going to bounce on you, you wouldn’t stay in place either! Mum has put the ramp away before either Aristotle or Shadow do themselves even more harm. Now what do we do?
The Good News
In the summer, mum sometimes works outside in the summerhouse so that we can be out in the garden for long periods of time. Oh don’t worry, Mum isn’t stupid enough to work in the summerhouse at this time of year. Even I would draw the link at that. Instead I’ve helped her move the summerhouse table to Ari’s room. Now we have a decision to make – do we move from the office or do we work from Ari’s room? It’s quite exciting having somewhere different to work. Mum likes being able to look out of the window and see people going by. That of course, may not help her getting any work done.
I suppose it is a little sad that the most exciting decision of the day is which room to spend time working in!
