Help for Everyone

Today is one of those days when we seem to be able to offer help for everyone. First off, as it looks like we’re all going to be stuck at home for a while longer yet we will start with one that might help your whole mental state.

Meditation with a dog

The lovely people at SpareRoom who deal with flatmates and house shares, are aware that not everyone can have a pet. Sometimes that’s because the humans are renting but it can also be with through work or health it simply can’t happen. They wanted to help people without a pet be able to spend some quiet time with a dog. They have put together a lovely calming meditation video featuring dogs. If you need to relax for a few minutes then it is a great way to do it. We’ve included the video below.

Understanding your best friend

Meanwhile Dogs for Good who train assistance and community dogs also set out to help other dog owners. They provide lots of training information and advice. At the moment they are conducting a survey to find out what sort of advice and information dog owners would like to receive so they can understand their best friend better. We’re all in favour of you understanding us – as long as it’s to our advantage. You can find the survey HERE – please give them some help by taking part.

Funny Mood

I think Mum needs some help understanding Aristotle. He was in a really funny mood yesterday. He was so unsettled. He kept standing in front of her and barking for no apparent reason. I must admit she rather ran out of patience with him. He didn’t want anything. He was just in one of those moods. Mum even shared her turkey sandwich with him at lunchtime and he still wasn’t happy.
