Swimming Yesterday

Shadow and Ari had such a lovely time swimming yesterday. Poor Mum found going out incredibly stressful and wasn’t sure she could face taking them again. They both asked so nicely and said what a good time they’d had that she has relented and booked them in for next week. I think what really threw her, given it was all done on a no contact basis, was driving past the Covid testing station where there was a sign saying keep your windows closed. She’s wasn’t that close so I don’t think it really meant her, but she’s easily freaked out. Anyway, the lovely lady at our hydrotherapy took a little video of Ari and said we could show you all. She took a photo of Shadow with a big smile on her face too.

Having Fun

They weren’t the only ones having fun. I had a lovely day at day care. It is nice to get out and see some other dogs for a day. Oh I love my humans, but it can all get a bit claustrophobic.

With the weather being good, Dad went out into the garden for a distanced coffee and scone with clotted cream and jam. Mum really enjoyed being able to see him in person even for a little while.

Howling

There was one thing that was funny, well for us anyway. Mum did a live reading on Facebook from one of her books. Shadow was fed up not being included so howled all the way through. Mum had forgotten to shut the kitchen door to reduce the sound so there is a background of howling on the video and it was Shadow! You can imagine that Mum was not best pleased, but we all thought it was great fun. I bet she won’t forget to close the door next week!

Love
