Yesterday was a Quiet Day – Tuesday 21st January 2020
Yesterday was a quiet day. It was the sort of day to stay under the covers and just snuggle up. But it was Alfie’s Gotcha day so that was good.

This is hard – Alfie isn’t doing so well with his dementia. Canine Cognitive Dysfunction is as hard on a dog as the equivalent is for a human.
It turns out that Mum’s early morning alarm call from me and Alfie was not appreciated. I really can’t think why.
This is more like it – Wilma is happy to be getting back into bed with Mum. She does like to sleep as close by as possible.
Shadow is on heart tablets – she’s fine, but the tablets are needed to make sure she stays that way. It’s just with her age, nothing more.
Wilma has an update on Alfie and although some of it is good news, the rest is pretty difficult. Life is not so easy right now.
Shadow the happy dog – has been swimming again and had a lovely time. She’d love to go more often if Mum could take her.
Mum has booked for Wilma to go to Crufts again this year. Now she just needs to do some practice so she does well in the ring.
For a change it is a normal day – we don’t really know what a normal day is in our house, but as things go, this is one of them.
Alfie has spent his weekend out for the count. Once he’s asleep he’s in a world of his own. We hope it’s a happy place.
