Oh I missed Mum
Oh I missed Mum this week. You should have seen us when we got back together yesterday. Mum said her world started to make sense again as soon as we had a cuddle and I was by her side. I know my world was able to relax quite a lot, knowing she was there.
Mum was pleased to check on all of us. Alfie is doing quite well and for reasons I can’t explain said he was much happier sharing with Shadow than with me. Ok, I know I knock him off his feet sometimes, but I don’t mean to. I just forget how wobbly he is. Mum has got quite good now at making sure he is lined up before he attempts to go up the ramp so that it doesn’t all go wrong.
Spoiled dogs
We may be just a little bit spoiled. Ok, so I’m more spoiled than the rest of them but we’re all pretty spoiled. Mum came home to a catalogue of lovely things to buy for your dogs. We all got together and did that thing where you turn the corners over on the pages you want your human to notice. She fell for it! Alfie liked the look of a better lifting harness that will make it easier for him. Shadow thought she might like a toy cow. Aristotle rather liked the comfy cover for the back seat of the car. And little old me? Well I thought it would be nice to have a pillow with my name on it. Oh I marked the page with the squirrel toy on too. Now we’re just waiting to see if we get everything we asked for.
Plans for the day
Do you think it might rain a little less today? I’ve got my heart set on a walk with Mum and her words when she picked us up yesterday were ‘You needn’t think I’m going out in that’. Ok to be fair, we did get a month’s rain in one day, so even I can see her point. If we can go out today we might need boots on or at least a spare towel to wipe our paws when we get home.
Have a lovely Saturday

We would love to take her home , I’ve had lots of different size dogs from beagles to Sheppards her eye have totally stopped me in my tracks we’ve been looking for a rescue for along time , now I think our prays have been answered x
I’m flattered that you like my eyes, but I’m very happy where I live now thank you. I wouldn’t leave Mum for anything and she feels just the same. Thankfully, there are none of our breed looking for a rescue home at the moment, not in the UK anyway.
Hopefully you’ll find the right companion soon.
