So Excited
I am so excited about this weekend. Shadow being Shadow is taking it all in her stride. She’s reached that age when she seems to look down her nose in disdain at quite a few things. Mum says I shouldn’t take it personally as she’s been looking down her nose in disdain for most of her life. I guess to be fair to Shadow she did hear that one of her brothers is very ill so she’s probably quite quiet as a result of that too. I tried to play with her yesterday, but I didn’t get very far. Even when I barked at her she just walked away. Ah well, I know she’ll perk up when we get to the celebrations this afternoon.
Dreaming
Alfie had a really funny night the other night. He’d got out of his bed and gone to sleep by the side of Mum. He was very deeply asleep and dreaming. As he was doing so, he was kicking his back legs out and hitting them against the wardrobe door. He woke both Mum and me and then Mum tried to wake him to get him to go back to bed, but he was totally out of it. Thankfully, he did at least stop kicking his legs even though he didn’t wake up until later.
Diet Update
I need to go for a weigh in at the vet to see if I’ve lost any of the weight I’m supposed to be losing. Mum is doing really well and putting me to shame. Our sponsors will only pay if I lose what I’ve got to lose as well, so Mum has told me I need to buck my ideas up. Humans can be so boring. I guess if she’s managing to resist chocolate and cakes then I probably have to at least show a little commitment. The sooner the weight is lost the sooner I can go back to my normal food. You do think she’ll let me go back to that don’t you? I did so like it.
