Ballenberg

Wilma at Ballenberg

Yesterday we went to a wonderful museum called Ballenberg. It has lots of old buildings from all over Switzerland. The best bit for me was that it covers a very big area and I got to do lots and lots of walking. I didn’t get to go into the buildings, although some of the humans did. There were so many things to see and do. The best bits for me were wanting to chase the chickens. Some of them were huge. I tried to go and say hello to a pig but I didn’t know there was an electric fence in the way and I got a shock on my nose.

Snow

Sadly the snow has all gone again where we live. There is some up on the mountains but only really high up. We didn’t get to play in any as it was far too warm. When we got home though we did get a bit of a surprise. There are orange poles at the side of the roads so people can see where the road goes when there’s lots of snow. Well, there is one on our grass right outside the front door. Do you really think we’re going to have deep snow right by the house? Now I don’t want to go back to England so that I can be here to see it. Mum says I’ll get plenty of chance to see it, but I really don’t want to miss it.

Family

I did meet one of my nieces yesterday and tried to show her the ropes. She’s one of my sister Tosca’s children. She at least had the good sense not to be electrocuted. She said my sister is well but putting her paws up as she’s just mated with a stud dog and hoping to have some more puppies in a few weeks.

Anyway, I’m off to meet an English born dog who now lives out here today. He only lives half an hour from us, so it will be good to get to know him. I do love just how many dogs I get to play with when we are on holiday.

Love

Wilma
