Lovely walk – Sunday 28th October 2018

Lovely walk

We had a lovely walk with my sister Valeria yesterday. She took us around some hills and woods near where she lives. We had a really good run together and almost got to chase some cows, but Mum made me come back before I could do that. The trees were all lovely colours and we stopped to kick our paws through all the leaves. Mum wanted to read all the signs telling her about the wildlife so she could learn some new words in German. She was trying to read about the local monastery too, but I didn’t think that bit was as interesting from a dog’s point of view.

Hats

You have to worry about our humans. Valeria’s human and mine now even have matching hats. Ok, so I know that Valeria and I have matching harnesses and funnily enough the colours of our harnesses are broadly similar to our humans choice of hat colours. I’m guessing as they do the buying they simply buy us their favourite colours. It may be time for me to put my paw down and make sure I get my own favourite. Oh who am I kidding? I like them all and I’m never one to turn down a present. It also means my dressing gown and harness match too, so at least I am coordinated.

Coffee and cake

It may surprise you to know our walk finished up in a cake shop with coffee and cake – for the humans only. I got to snuffle round the floor to see if anyone had left me anything, but sadly there was nothing much.

Depending on the weather and whether Mum is feeling up to it, (she had a poorly head yesterday) we’re thinking of going to Liechtenstein today. It’s a whole different country, so another to tick off on my places to visit list. Even Alfie hasn’t been there and he’s the best travelled of all of us.

Love
